This is why we strive to not only improve society and local environment, but also give back through different sustainable and donation projects.

Below are some of the project we feel proud to create or be a part of.

Let's spread joy this Christmas 2024

This holiday season, the Supernova group becomes Santa Claus again with valuable donations in the amount of 10,000 euros in Supernova gift cards. With this amount, we decided to cheer up many needy people so that the donations will go to various humanitarian associations in different Croatian cities.
These are donations that go to the following addresses:

2.000 € - Zadar (mala kuća Zadar)
2.000 € - Slavonski Brod (Kuća sretnih ciglica)
1.000 € - Varaždin (Utočište Sveti Nikola)
1.000 € - Koprivnica (Društvo naša djeca)
4.000 € - Zagreb (Zagrebački humanitarci)

This holiday season, the Supernova group is once again becoming Santa Claus with valuable donations in the amount of 10,000 euros in Supernova gift cards. With this amount, we decided to cheer up many needy people so that the donations will go to various humanitarian associations in different Croatian cities.

These are donations that go to the following addresses:

Zadar (Small House Zadar)
Slavonski Brod (House of Happy Bricks)
Varaždin (Sveti Nikola Refuge)
Koprivnica (Our Children Society)
Zagreb (Zagreb Humanitarians)

In addition to the aforementioned donation, there are additional donations to local communities, such as a donation to the Zadar Hospital in the amount of 17,000 euros. There is also a donation of 5,000 euros to the Varaždin Hospital.

Renewable energy in Sisak

Supernova Group’s member companies, Supernova projekti d.o.o. and Supernova Sisak West d.o.o., as well as partner companies Sirius Sisak East d.o.o. and Åpenhet AS, have completed three pilot projects aimed at constructing integrated photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of Supernova Sisak East and Supernova Sisak West shopping centers.

The total installed capacity of the installed photovoltaic power plants is 722.42 kWp, and they will generate 751,224 kWh of renewable energy. With this increase in the production of renewable energy, the project will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the amount of 119.14 tCO2 per year. Moreover, by installing these solar panels, Supernova Sisak West will cover 30 percent of its total energy consumption with renewable energy sources, while Supernova Sisak East is looking at covering 40 percent of its total energy consumption.

Christmas donation in 2022

The SUPERNOVA Group, with the help of its visitors and followers, collected 10,000 euros to help needy families across Croatia with the virtual lighting of the lights on the SUPER Christmas tree.

With this commendable donation, the Supernova group brightened up the holidays for more than several hundred families who need help the most.

The total amount of donations was transfered to Supernova gift cards, which were handed over to the organizations Mala kuća Zadar, Kuća sretnih ciglica, Utočište Sveti Nikola, Društvo naša djeca and Zagrebački humanitarci, which then distributed them to their residents.

Supernova centers as promoters of sports

2023-Supernova Zadar signed one-year sponsorship contract with Handball club Zadar 1954. and Basketball club Zadar2023- Supernova Garden Mall- as a VIP sponsor of the Davis Cup in Split in 2023.

We signed a sponsorship agreement with the basketball club KK Dubrava from Zagreb, which is located in the neighborhood of our shopping center Supernova Zagreb Garden mall. We also supported the Hakl Dubrava tournament, which brings together competitors of 12 elementary schools in the Dubrava neighborhood.

We signed a sponsorship agreement with the basketball club KK Dubrava from Zagreb, which is located in the neighborhood of our shopping center Supernova Zagreb Garden mall. We also supported the Hakl Dubrava tournament, which brings together competitors of 12 elementary schools in the Dubrava neighborhood.

Zadar Soccer Club Sponsorship

Supernova has signed a gold sponsorship agreement with the HNK Zadar soccer club, which allows us to support the growth of the local soccer club. Our logo can be found on the shirts as well as on the side of the soccer field.

New initiatives: Beehives on the rooftop of our shopping center in Koprivnica

Our shopping center Supernova Koprivnica has collaborated with a local beekeeper and honey producer to place beehives on the rooftop of our center. While rooftop spaces of our shopping centers are often associated with PV/ renewable energy production, incorporating beehives offers a distinct approach that adds an element of sustainability and environmental education.

In this case, the project in Koprivnica seems to focus on promoting beekeeping, supporting local bee populations, and potentially harvesting honey. These initiatives can raise awareness about the importance of bees, promote biodiversity, and contribute to the local ecosystem and local environment. It's a great example of thinking creatively and finding alternative uses for rooftop spaces.
